Transportation

Water transportation and distribution infrastructure form critical networks throughout Palm Beach County. The Primary canal system, managed by the South Florida Water Management District, includes major conveyance structures such as the C-51 Canal. It transports water southward from Lake Okeechobee through Palm Beach County to supply both municipal utilities and agricultural areas. These canals serve dual purposes.
